Senior Engineer – MRO Materials & Processes
Responsibilities
- The purpose of the role is indirect support of Safran Aircraft Engines customers and development of materials & processes technical documentation by providing technical expertise in the fields of materials engineering, maintenance and repair processes, engine lifecycle.
- We are looking for people „hands-on” on substantive issues as well as people who think out of the box. Our Senior Engineers are Subject Matter Experts who play critical role in knowledge management, development of team competences (and hence responsibility) and training of other members of the team.
- Day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from international Material and Processes teams, PSE, Customer Support, Design, Technology and Quality teams at various stages of Safran Aircraft Engines products lifecycle – development & aftermarket, in service & MRO
- Formal responding to Customer Queries to very tight schedules, eg. Aircraft on Ground
- Preparation of lifecycle engine documentation for Engine Manuals, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (change management, internal approval process, action plans management)
- Developing contacts with other SAFRAN entities to improve and integrate the best practices
- Promote lean, continuous improvement, quality, safety and customer orientation within the organization
Requirements
- 7+ years of MRO experience
- In-depth understanding of aero engine lifecycle, processes and related documentation (EMM, AMM)
- Master in technical fields
- Professional experience as a Customer Support Engineer, Repair Engineer, Materials & Processes Engineer or similar
- Strong analytical mind set with highest quality orientation and ability to work under pressure / very tight schedules
- Eager for training and knowledge sharing
- Teamwork, self-motivation, ‘can-do’ attitude and decision-making skills

Technical Leader- Thermal and Aero Engineering
Responsibilities
- Holistic leadership of R&D Thermal and Aero Engineering teams from organizational and technical perspectives (from requirement to the final solution)
- Day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from R&D office at various stages of the project, conceptual to change in definition
- Supervise and track progress of activities and projects within Division, streamlining support for research and development, creating strategies
- Setting long-term and short-term goals and monitoring their implementation
- Full accountability for Division governance, agreeing new activities, accepting deadlines, tracking work progress
- Define roadmap for development of team responsibilities and competences
- Develop contacts with other SAFRAN entities to improve and integrate the best practices
- Ensure implementation of Continuous Improvement activities
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Preparation of strength analyses (static, LCF, HCF, fatigue, crack propagation) of aero engine components using FEA (ANSYS Workbench and other) and analytical methods under supervision
- Preparation of analyses and reports
- Assessment of non-conformities related to aero engine components and their effects on the product
- Preparation of 2D and 3D technical documentation using Catia V5
- Day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from design, technology, quality and manufacturing at various stages of implementation and serial production
- Technical support to other departments for process improvement
- Technical validation of concessions related with visual, dimensional and process non-conformities of aero engines components
- Defining technical solutions (request for drawing change, production permit, process optimization) to eliminate non-conformities on products
Requirements
